In order to decide how many games to play, I would recommend to try to plan things out a little bit. Consider how many guests you are expecting as well as what they will be doing while they will be with you.

If you are serving food, you must allow some time for your guests to eat and mingle. But if you are only serving hor'dourves you may want to work a little harder at keeping them entertained.

You might want to have three games total... have your guests play a couple of "event games", and also set up the rules for a game that goes on for the entire shower. This will keep your guests engaged and will make the baby shower you are planning, a baby shower to remember.

If you would like to get some cool baby shower ideas (or suggest some), you can check out my squidoo lens

Good luck and happy planning,

i have no idea but there was this one baby shower game on "the girls next door" where you take candy bars and you mash them up and like put them in diapers. and then you pass the diapers around and see if your guests can guess which candy bar is in which diaper

for example..like take a snickers bar, mash it up throw it in a diaper and give that diaper a label (like #1). then for diaper #2, mash up a 3 muskateers bar. and so on and so forth. it looked fun and interesting. and the winner can get like a prize or something.

have fun

well you are going to eat - and spend half the time opening presents - maybe three

change the diaper

everybody gets a napkin folded like a diaper with a pin in it
when I say "GO" the first person to get the diaper apart and back together inside out(reversed) is the 'WINNER"
*****
h o w e v e r hehehehehhehehehehehehehehe
*******
one of the napkins will have mustard and ketchup in it - and that will be the 'second' prize for this game! who got the dirty diaper - BUT DON'T TELL ANYBODY - let the screams begin!

all the best !

My baby shower lasted 3 hours. We played 5 really fun games. You want to allow time to eat, play, open gifts, and for cake. Remember to have enough prizes for the amount of games you have. I had 5 games, so I made 5 "goody bags" filled with cute little things. I had a co-ed baby shower so they were things that men or women could use.
